Dear Valued Pet Parents,
We are pleased to announce that we will be able to allow clients into the building for scheduled appointments starting Tuesday, July 7th, 2020.
Over the next few days, our staff will be working diligently to get the hospital ready to allow clients in safely.
Here is what to expect if you are coming in for an appointment:
You will stay in your car when you arrive and call the front desk. When a sanitized room is available, our receptionist will ask you to come in and escort you into a room. We will have a hand sanitizing station just inside the front door and will ask that anyone entering the build sanitize their hands thoroughly. You must also wear a mask while you are in the building. To help us maintain and 6 foot distance we will also ask that there be no more than 2 people coming inside with your pet. Once in an exam room, the receptionist may borrow your pet for a moment to get its current weight. A nurse will come to get your pet’s medical history and ask you about any concerns you may have. From there, your pet will be brought to our treatment area for an exam by one of our veterinarians. The veterinarian will come back to your exam room to discuss your pet. Once your visit is complete, a nurse will come to your exam room to check you out with our mobile credit card payment system. We will then help you and your pet get back to your vehicle safely.
We will still be performing prescription and food pick ups curbside/contact free.
Our staff is continuing to socially distance, wear masks, and disinfect regularly. We also ask that if anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 or is exhibiting symptoms, to please notify the staff when you call so we can handle your pet properly.
We truly appreciate all of your patience and support as we navigate this new way of caring for the pets in our community.
If you wish to make an appointment or have any questions please call us at (248)934-2835. We can’t wait to see you all again.
