CT Scan

CT Scan

Attention Referring Veterinarians: Please be informed that all of our CT scans are sent out to Peregrine Radiology to be read and reviewed by specialists. Results will be returned to us in 24-72 hours. Results will be sent to you as soon as we receive them so you can establish a treatment plan for your patient.

We are proud to offer this advanced diagnostic tool to our patients. CT scans can help us diagnose and treat some of the most challenging diseases our pets face: cancer, joint diseases, dental disease, and more.

Veterinarians use CT scans to get a clear picture inside your pet’s body. It takes hundreds of images(like slices of cake) that help the vet see bones, organs, and tissues in great detail. This is really helpful for figuring out what might be wrong if your pet is sick or injured.  These scans are safe and quick, only taking 30-45 minutes. Animals do need to be placed under general anesthesia for most scans to keep them still. We monitor all of our anesthetic patients closely to ensure their safety. By using CT scans, vets can make better decisions about how to take care of your pet and help them feel better.
