Nikki

Nikki came to the practice in May of 2020. She grew up on a small ranch in Metamora. She started riding horses when she was 8 years old and will tell you that that’s where her true love for animals stemmed from. The memories she has of riding and caring for her first horse (Thunder) taught her valuable lessons about hard work & unconditional love. Nikki is also a licensed cosmetologist Paul Mitchell graduate. However in 2015 Nikki started her position as a kennel technician. She realized that caring for the animals day to day was improving her own sense of well being. She was excited to continue a life around animals with the opportunity to work at this practice. She is grateful to make a difference in the lives of our patients health and the pet parents lives. One of Nikki’s favorite parts of her job is taking care of the post operative TPLO patients. Seeing how dramatically the dogs mobility and spirit improve after treatment is something that brings her great joy. Nikki’s family has a 13 year old beloved black lab named Sir. Winston. She currently has two cats name Benny and Capone.
